The academic session is divided into four evaluation schedules for Nursery to UKG based on their oral and written assessment. Furthermore, the evaluation process for Playgroup is based on oral interaction keeping in consideration different skills set like confidence and two evaluation schedules.
PROMOTION POLICY
Considering the age group of children promotion to the next class is based on their oral and written evaluation and also their pace of development. We need to appreciate the fact that children are very small and each child is different and has a different pace of learning. No promotion will be done on trial.

PARENTAL GUIDELINES
1) Parents are requested to pay attentions to their children's regularity, discipline, behavior and neatness.
2) Parents should ensure that their child is healthy to come to school.
3) School hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm. Class hours for playgroup and Nursery: 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. For LKG onwards:- 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
(Time may be changed if needed, with prior information)
4) Vacation: The vacations are the autumnal vacation in October during Dashain and Tihar festivals and the winter vacation in December/January. These holidays may not be extended or anticipated.
5) Do not send the child with valuable accessories. If lost, school won't be responsible for that.
6) Uniform is an integral part of Island kids. Kindly make sure your child except Playgroup wears proper school uniform to school everyday i.e blue pant/ skirt, white shirt, tie, black socks and leather shoes. AND school's track suits. except for celebratory days.
7) Considering the sensitivity of the age, parent's are requested to send two spare clothes in their child's bag.
8) You are advised to check the bag of your ward on daily basis, so as to avoid missing any important communication.
9) Parents are requested to follow the monthly calendar for events and celebrations and prepare their ward accordingly through school app.
10) CCTV footages are for internal monitory purposes, parents are permitted to access these footages in special cases only.
11) While picking and dropping your child from school if a new person comes for the picking, kindly please inform to the school administration in prior.
12) Meeting with teachers.
• If for any reason, you wish to meet the school coordinator / class teacher you are welcome to do so. However, appointments must be made prior to all such meetings.
• Parents are advised to attend PTMs regularly. These meetings are held to discusses the performances and progress of the child and will give parents an opportunity to learn about their child's development and also help the teachers to give their best towards the overall improvement of the child.
ADMISSION AND WITHDRAWAL POLICY
• Information regarding admission is published on the school notice board. Application forms can be either collected personally from the school office. Guardians are asked to fill in the admission form with utmost possible accuracy.
• In case of withdrawal parents are requested to submit written notice one month prior.
• Those who take transfer certificate after 6 months are required to clear the whole year's fees.
• On withdrawal NO AMOUNT would be refunded in any case.
• Parent needs to clear all dues so that school issue no dues and transfer certificate to the parent.
FEE DEPOSITION RULES
• The school fees cover twelve calendar months and may be paid in monthly installments or in advance. NO REDUCTION IS MADE FOR HOLIDAYS OR BROKEN PERIODS. Pupils are liable to be charged full fees as long as their names are officially on the rolls. FEES ARE ONCE PAID ARE NOT REFUNDED.
• The tuition fee is to be deposited in the school before 10th of each month.
• Preferable modes of fee payment are Cash and online transfers.
• Late payment charge would be applicable if the due fee will be above Rs 5000/-
IMPORTANT NOTE TO GUARDIANS:
Parents and guardians are requested to co-operate with the school authorities.
1. By insisting on neatness and cleanliness in their school dress and personal appearance.
2. By occasionally interviewing the principal to discuss the progress of their wards.
3. By collecting the result of their ward on the scheduled day after their terminal examination. Those who fail to procure it on the scheduled day can collect in within the first week.
4. In case a child falls sick or gets injured by accident in the school premise, the school authority will refer the child to the nearest doctor/clinic or hospital. The parents will be informed at the earliest by phone or personal visit by a delegated person. The school is not to be blamed for such mishaps. All the expenses (doctor's fee, medicine) etc are to be met by the parents of the concerned child.
PARENTS ARE ADVISED NOT TO SEND THE CHILDREN TO SCHOOL IF THEY ARE SICK.
